Pull Activities Show Real Leadership

I want to share this great article tweeted by MOR Associates (October 2013). The article draws attention to what it means to be an effective leader, including a specific attribute that we see in highly competent leaders, the ability to pull information, data, people, tasks, etc. This article helps me reflect back to John Hagel's best selling book Power of Pull (Hagel, 2010) which brought a trendy, yet incredibly powerful (excuse the cliche) management shift. In his original blog post from Reflection to the ITLP 2013 cohort, Greg Busby described the pull concept and explained how this capability enables a person to be a more effective leader.
